Brick Man Arrested In Connection With Holmdel Tire Slashing: Cops

A 24-year-old man was arrested this month in connection with a report of slashed tires on a Holmdel resident's property.

HOLMDEL, NJ - An Ocean County man was arrested earlier this month in connection with a report of slashed tires on a Holmdel resident’s property, authorities said Wednesday.

The Holmdel Township Police Department received a report from a resident from Stoney Brook Road on Nov. 26 that two vehicles on their property had their tires slashed, according to a news release from the department.

The cost to repair and replace the tires was around $1,300, authorities said.

An investigation by Det. Andrew Kret eventually identified a suspect, 24-year-old Tyler Suhl of Brick Township. Suhl was arrested and charged on Dec. 15 with criminal mischief, police said.

Suhl was processed and later released on a summons pending a court appearance.
