A Neptune man stole the car from a home on Takolusa Drive, the county prosecutor says.

Holmdel, NJ - We’ve reported before on a Neptune man suspected of robbing dozens of homes throughout wealthy areas of Monmouth County, but new charges allege that he stole a 2014 Cadillac CTS from a home in Holmdel Township as well.

Tommy Earls was charged Thursday, Dec. 24 with breaking into a home on Takolusa Drive in Holmdel on July 4th, 2014, police said.

The owners were out of town for the holiday, and Earls damaged the front door and side garage doors to get into the home. He drove off in a 2014 Cadillac CTS, the Monmouth County prosecutor said. He also stole jewelry, electronics, an iPod Touch and guitars valued at $36,000 from the home.
