The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center Helps Women Adjust to Breast Cancer Diagnosis
The Cancer Support Community is holding a free program, "What to Expect When You Have Been Diagnosed with Breast Cancer."
Receiving a breast cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. To help women better understand their diagnosis and what challenges they may face, the Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center is holding a free program, “What to Expect When You Have Been Diagnosed with Breast Cancer.”
Co-facilitators Erin Dooley, MSN, RN, CBEC, CN-BN and Gina Tanenbaum BSN, RN, CN-BN, will lead a discussion about treatment options and address any questions or concerns. “What to Expect” will take place Thursday, June 15 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Suite ST-007 of the Maysie-Stroock Pavilion at Monmouth Medical Center, located at 300 Second Avenue in Long Branch. The Cancer Support Community (CSC) offers supportive programs, education, and hope for individuals affected by a cancer diagnosis, no matter where treatment is received.
