Car Burglaries On Beers Street, Raritan Valley Part Of Hazlet

Police say Beers Street and the Raritan Valley section of town were hit during the week of Nov. 12. Break-ins happened between 2-5 a.m.

HAZLET, NJ — Hazlet police report a rash of unlocked car burglaries in that town last week, the week of Nov. 12: Police say the area of Beers Street and the Raritan Valley section of town have been targeted.

The break-ins have generally happened between the early morning hours of 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. All the cars had been left unlocked and were entered by people, who went inside and took valuables from the car.

One resident left their key inside their black 2013 Hyundai Sonata and the thief drove away with the car, police said. The license plate is S47HGT.
