Car Show Fundraiser To Be Hosted In Hazlet By Raritan Marching Band

The Raritan Rockets will be hosting their second car show complete with food trucks, live music, raffles and more on May 15.

HAZLET, NJ — Calling all Hazlet car fans, next month, the Raritan High School Marching Band is hosting a fun-filled fundraising event with food trucks, bands and great cars.

On May 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., families can take part in the festivities, which will include raffles and live music. A rain date has been set for May 22. The event is free to attend and is made possible through sponsorships, vendor spaces, and car registrations.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go straight to the RHS Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Indoor Percussion and Color Guard ensembles.

Vehicle registration costs $20 in advance or $25 on the day of registration. The first 100 cars to register will receive a complimentary dash plaque. To register a car, fill out this Google Form.

“We are seeking food vendors, sponsors and car enthusiasts to participate so stay tuned here and on our Facebook page to find out how you can help make this a great day for the community that also happens to support the band program,” said an event spokesperson.
