Chelsea Clinton in Monmouth County Tuesday

Monmouth County, NJ - As New Jersey's primary nears, on Tuesday, June 7, campaigning is heating up in the Garden State. The last day to register to vote in the primary is Tuesday, May 17. How to register to vote here.

Chelsea Clinton will be in Long Branch and Hazlet Tuesday, May 17 to campaign for her mother. Chelsea will be at Charley's Ocean Grille in Long Branch at noon and at the Monmouth County Democrats Campaign Headquarters, 1342 Hwy 36 in Hazlet at 2 p.m.

Chelsea was in Metuchen on Friday, and later that day in Bloomfield. Bill Clinton was also in New Jersey Friday, at Passaic County Community College in Paterson and at a rally at the College of New Jersey in Ewing.

Hillary Clinton was in Camden last Wednesday, and Bernie Sanders campaigned in New Brunswick last Sunday and Atlantic City last Monday. To the surprise of some, New Jersey has become a battleground state as Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton race to secure the Democratic nomination.
