Bell Works, formerly the historic Bell Labs research facility, is continuing to transform itself into a "metroburb" in the middle of Holmdel suburbia and countryside. The Holmdel Twp. Library now operates on site, as does the Holmdel Montessori School, open to children from six weeks to kindergarten. The Holmdel Planning Board recently gave the OK to construct a 200-room hotel on the roof of Bell Works. Earlier in 2017, Bell Works also unveiled its new rooftop deck and lounge, allowing tenants and visitors to enjoy lunch or coffee break overlooking Bell Works’ pristine, scenic grounds.
Guradian Life Insurance, a NYC-based insurance giant, runs its technology enterprise out of Bell Works. An anchor tenant is iCIMS, along with International Flavors & Fragrances, Acacia Communications, Jersey Central Power and Light and MetTel, a New York City-based telecommunications firm.
