Donate Your Extra Books To A Hazlet Eagle Scout Project

The aspiring Eagle Scout wants to bring books to ex-prisoners reentering society.

HAZLET, NJ-- Looking to clean out your bookshelf but don't want to throw books away? Donate them to a local Eagle Scout project!

Joseph Fiore, a Hazlet Boy Scout working on his Eagle project, is running a book drive for Logan Hall, a halfway house that provides addiction treatment and reentry assistance to men and women once they are released from jail.

He is collecting adult books to help in the reentry process (so no picture books, please!). Fiore's goal is to send 1,000 books to Logan Hall.
