Driver Still Missing In One-Car Collision In Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ— A driver involved in a one-car collision Monday night on Roberts Road near Wilson Boulevard is still unaccounted for, police say, after a search of the area with a K9 and a drone.

A nearby resident heard a collision and contacted the police department to report it at about 8:37 p.m. Monday, said Holmdel Sgt. Christopher Cherney. The scene was cleared on Tuesday morning.

The occupant or occupants of the car immediately fled the scene and were not located, he said, adding that the investigation is continuing.
