DWI Check In Hazlet Friday Night

Heads up: They'll be pulling drivers over from the eastbound lanes of Rt. 36 into Holy Family Church parking lot.

HAZLET, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be in Hazlet this Friday night, July 28, for their weekly DWI checkpoint.

The checkpoint will be run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on Hwy. 36. Task force members and officers from the Hazlet police will pull vehicles from the eastbound lanes into the Holy Family Church parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety.

Every week during the summer months, the task force picks a different Monmouth County town or towns for a checkpoint. Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer is the task force coordinator.
