DWI Checkpoint In Holmdel Friday Night, Oct. 20

Heads up: Police will pull vehicles over from the southbound lanes of Hwy. 35 into Dearborn Market from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday.

HOLMDEL, NJ — There will be a DWI check this Friday night, Oct. 20, in Holmdel, police announced Thursday.

The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct a DWI checkpoint, to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. The checkpoint will be on Highway 35 south and will be run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.

Task force members and officers from the Holmdel police department will pull vehicles over from the southbound lanes into the Dearborn Market parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator.
