DWI Checkpoints In Holmdel, West Long Branch This Weekend

HOLMDEL, NJ — Be aware: The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint in Holmdel this Friday night, Oct. 4, the task force announced.

The checkpoint will be run from 9 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. Saturday on Hwy 35 south.

Task force members and officers from the Holmdel police department will pull cars from the southbound lanes into the Dearborn Market parking lot to determine driver's sobriety, said Allenhurst Police Chief Michael B. Schneider, task force coordinator.

On Saturday night, that same task force will have a checkpoint in West Long Branch, pulling cars over from the westbound lanes of Rt. 36 into the Monmouth Park Corporate Center parking lot. It will be run at the same times, 9 p.m. Saturday - 1 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.
