False Alarm Hold-Up At Hazlet Bank Thursday

Did you see officers out with guns drawn at the Bank of America on Hwy. 35 Thursday?

HAZLET, NJ — If you saw officers out with guns drawn at the Rt. 35 Bank of America Thursday, it's because they were responding to a false alarm of a bank hold-up, Hazlet police said.

The alarm occurred sometime around noon Thursday at the bank and Hazlet police responded as per protocol, Deputy Chief Ted Wittke told Patch.
