Reexamination Of Holmdel's Government Enters Final Phase

The Holmdel Charter Study Commission will meet to deliberate on forms of government that potentially decide the future of Holmdel's elected.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Charter Study Commission will present the final phase of their three-part agenda to investigate Holmdel's current form of government during their meeting on Thursday night.

The commission will discuss and deliberate on forms of government in phase three, according to the agenda, and potentially decide the future of Holmdel's elected officials.

At the meeting, the commissioners will deliberate and discuss the findings of phases one and two, as well as any recommendations they may wish to consider.

Any changes proposed by the Charter Study Commission may be placed on the ballot this year, according to state law. It's unclear what impact, if any, this will have on the Republican and Democratic primaries in June.

For those able to attend, the meeting starts at 7 p.m. in person in Town Hall on Crawfords Corner Road.
