Fire At PNC Arts Center, State Officials Say

Crews were battling a fire at the PNC Arts Center early Saturday.

The fire was reported around 6 a.m. at the Garden State Parkway venue, according to state transportation officials.

Flames could be seen from the parkway, and pictures on social media captured the incident before the blaze was extinguished later in the morning.

The fire was in a food truck, possibly in the venue's VIP section, according to News12.

Keith Urban was scheduled to play at PNC, formerly known as the Garden State Arts Center, on Saturday night. News12 reported that the concert will go on as scheduled.

News12 reported that crews called in aid from Colts Neck, Union Beach and Matawan. It is unknown if anyone was injured.

Firefighters were having a problem getting water for the blaze, according to News12.
