Firefighters Battle Blaze At Hazlet Factory

Firefighters were battling a blaze at a factory in Hazlet Saturday that shut down part of Route 36, according to reports.
The fire took place at International Flavors and Fragrances, a fragrance factory on the Hazlet and Union Beach border, and efforts were made to boost water pressure in the area to help combat the blaze, according to NJ.com.
Drivers reported that part of Route 36 was closed in both directions and traffic was being detoured onto Brown and Union avenues, according to the report.
