Free Tree Saplings Available To Holmdel Residents At Bell Works
Holmdel DPW will be hosting a Tree Recovery Day event at Bell Works on April 24 where residents can pick up a tree sapling to plant.
HOLMDEL, NJ - Starting next month, Holmdel residents will be eligible for free tree saplings from the Holmdel Department of Public Works (DPW).
In partnership with the NJ Forest Service Nursery, Holmdel DPW will be hosting a community Tree Recovery Day event at Bell Works on April 24. Residents are encouraged to stop by the event and pick up a complimentary tree sapling to plant on residential property.
The initiative aims to "replace many of the damaged or destroyed trees in our community," according to a statement from Holmdel Township. "These trees create defining features of many neighborhoods as well as give numerous benefits to residents."

Locals are encouraged to stop by the event as early as possible to ensure sapling availability. The event will last from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until supplies last.
