HAZLET, NJ - A Goodwill thrift store and donation center is moving into a vacant building in Hazlet that was once housed half of a Toys-R-Us.

The Goodwill Store in Aberdeen, located on Route 35 near Cliffwood Avenue, will be making a home for itself in Hazlet Plaza on Route 35 at the intersection of Poole Avenue, according to a representative from the company.

The establishment reportedly needs the extra 6,000 square feet of space that the Route 35 spot can accommodate after the Aberdeen location’s sublease is up, Goodwill Industries rep Juli Lungberg told the Asbury Park Press. The store is expected to open its doors in mid-January 2021.
