Hamilton Man Broke Into Keansburg Home, Stole $500 Worth of Jewelry, Money, Prosecutor Says

He was indicted Thursday for the Nov. 13 alleged break-in, where the homeowner caught him in the act, police said.

Keansburg, NJ - A Hamilton man who was caught in the act of allegedly stealing from a Keansburg home in November was indicted Thursday, acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni’s office said.

Sean Conroy, 41, of Sculptors Way in Hamilton, N.J. allegedly broke into the home off Creek Road after 6 p.m. on the evening of Nov. 13, 2015. He took jewelry and money valued at more than $500, prosecutors say.

The homeowner returned home, and found Conroy holding the jewels and cash, Keansburg police said at the time. Conroy was detained by the homeowner until police arrived.
