Harvest Home Festival This Sunday in Holmdel

Holmdel, NJ - Guess the weight of the big pumpkin, try your hand in the corn-husking competition, or dive into the pie-eating contest at Historic Longstreet Farm’s Harvest Home Festival this Sunday!
Held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 25 at Historic Longstreet Farm, 44 Longstreet Road, Holmdel, this old-fashioned country fair brings visitors back to the 1890s through games, music and entertainment.
Visitors will have the chance go on a wagon ride and see ongoing cider making (12-4 p.m.), blacksmithing, quilting, felting, beekeeping and woodworking demonstrations. There will also be crafters demonstrating the arts of rug hooking, lacemaking, weaving and more. Ongoing entertainment includes the Jugtown Mountain Band, “Phydeauz” Flea Circus, and “Wahoo” Medicine Show. Be sure to catch performances by the Chorus of the Atlantic at 1 & 2:15 p.m.
