Hazlet: Don't Park on Streets During Storm

PLEASE abide by the Township ordinance and move your vehicles off the streets until Public Works can get the plows through, Hazlet OEM says.

HAZLET, NJ - As Monmouth County prepares for a major, late-winter storm bearing down on us, the Hazlet Township Office of Emergency Management asks residents not to park cars on public streets starting Monday evening.

"It looks like we will be getting a significant amount of snow beginning overnight tonight lasting into Tuesday afternoon. Looks like it may be up to 14" or more," wrote the Hazlet OEM. "PLEASE abide by the township ordinance and move your vehicles off the Township streets until the Public Works Dept. can get the streets cleared."

The March nor'easter is expected to start late Monday and will continue all day Tuesday. Tuesday morning's commute will be especially bad.
