Hazlet Library To Reopen Indoor Service On Thursday

Operating at 25 percent capacity and limited hours, the Hazlet Library returns to in-person service on July 30.

HAZLET, NJ – Calling all bookworms: the Hazlet library is back for in-person service. In a statement released on Monday, the township announced that Hazlet Library and all other Monmouth County branches were to reopen in-person services starting Thursday.

Based on state guidance, the facility will begin serving the public with limited hours. A 25 percent capacity restriction will be in place to allow for social distancing. Appointments will not be necessary, according to the township website.

In addition, library computer use will be limited to one 60-minute session per day at all locations. Patrons will also be required to wear face coverings for the duration of their visit.
