HAZLET, NJ - The local library commission is seeking to compile a collection of school yearbooks from the beginning of Hazlet’s history to the present day. The yearbook collection will be available in the Hazlet Library for future generations to enjoy.

The commission is asking residents for yearbooks in excellent condition (those with handwriting are fine) from any elementary school, Hazlet Middle School and Raritan High School, according to a notice from the township website.

The collection currently has Raritan High School editions from 1969, 1972, 1973, 1984, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2010.

Hazlet residents can drop off yearbook donations in the collection box located in the library foyer (251 Middle Rd). Commission volunteers will be picking them on a regular basis. The Hazlet Library is not currently accepting other donations at this time, including book donations.

Mailed donations can be sent to the Library Commission c/o of the Hazlet Library.
