Hazlet Man Hospitalized In Weekend Parkway Crash: Report

A Sunday morning motorcycle accident in Aberdeen left one motorcycle driver with "serious injuries," according to state police.

HAZLET, NJ - A Sunday morning crash in the Aberdeen section of the Garden State Parkway left one motorist with “serious injuries”, according to New Jersey State Police.

On Sept. 27 at approximately 1 a.m., a Harley Davidson motorcycle ran off the left side of the roadway and ejected the driver, Sgt. Lawrence Peele wrote in an email to Patch.

The Asbury Park Press reports that the motorcycle was operated by a 47-year-old Hazlet man.

The incident occurred on the Garden State Parkway southbound in the express lanes in Aberdeen near milepost 119.7. The driver reportedly sustained “serious injuries” and was transported to a local hospital, Peele wrote.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
