Hazlet Motor Vehicle Accident Prompts Road Closure: Officials

HAZLET, NJ - A motor vehicle accident investigation has prompted a major road closure in Hazlet Saturday morning, officials said.

Route 36 South and Middle Road is temporarily closed due to a police accident investigation, Hazlet Township wrote in an email notification to residents.

Motorists are asked to select an alternate route.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation reports that, as of 11:03 a.m., there's a 10-mintue delay. Detours are posted.
