Hazlet Popeyes Announces Early 2021 Opening Date: Report
Hazlet's brand-new Popeyes restaurant has announced its opening date for 2021. Here's when you can get your chicken fix:
HAZLET, NJ - The wait is over for chicken lovers in the Bayshore area: Hazlet’s brand-new Popeyes restaurant has announced its opening date for 2021.
The fried chicken chain will open its doors to customers on Jan. 2, complete with full menu options and a drive-thru, according to an Asbury Park Press report. The site is located at 1228 Highway 36.
A sign that reads "opening soon" proudly hangs outside the storefront. The company is also hiring for customer service roles.

The Highway 36 restaurant stands at the site of a former service station. Construction has been in the works since 2017.

"Popeyes on Route 36 in Hazlet has been a long anticipated opening and I am excited for our community," Mayor Mike Glackin told Patch. "Popeyes is a nationally recognized company and we are honored to call them in our town. Their chicken sandwich is legendary."
