Help improve a child's life by having your teeth whitened

Newman Springs Dental Care Seeks to Raise Record Amount of Donations During 2016 Smiles For Life Campaign

The 18th annual Smiles For Life Campaign began on March 1st, which means dental patients nationwide can brighten a child’s future just by visiting local Crown Council dentists Drs. Mitchel Friedman and Julia Cintron. The campaign runs from March 1 until June 30, and 100% of the proceeds from teeth whitening procedures done at Newman Springs Dental Care are contributed directly to the Smiles for Life Foundation. This foundation helps fund worthy children’s charities and humanitarian work, both locally and around the world. As an additional incentive, each tooth whitening patient enjoys their smile brightening procedure at a discounted rate. Patients love the unique opportunity to improve the lives of children in need while also enhancing their own smile.

Since its creation, the Crown Council’s Smiles For Life Campaign has raised over $36,000,000 for seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged kids. That’s a staggering $2M a year average, all thanks to participation from local communities and dental practices. Smiles For Life hopes to continue this tremendous pace for donations this year.

“Smiles For Life allows a person to help children in need by doing something that benefits them as well,” explains Greg Anderson, director of the Crown Council. “Drs. Friedman and Cintron along with their enthusiastic team donate their time and expertise, while Ultradent generously provides all Opalescence whitening products. You receive a brighter smile, and, best of all, provide children with a brighter future.”

This is a wonderful and easy way for members of the community to help make a real difference in a child’s life. Anyone interested in donating directly without teeth whitening can do so by clicking here. Participants can also refer friends to [Dentist’s name] by linking to the Smiles for Life site, making it easier than ever to give the gift of a new smile to friends and loved ones, while also giving hope to children in need.

Half of the donations raised by Newman Springs Dental Care are given to the Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank. The remaining balance goes to the Smiles For Life Foundation to support its national and international initiatives, including programs in the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Guatemala. Smiles For Life also maintains a strong longtime partnership with the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation supporting Child Life Zones in Children’s Hospitals across the United States. Stay tuned to see how much Smiles For Life is able to raise this year. Better yet, participate!
