Holmdel Announces New Township Administrator
During a special meeting on March 28, the township revoked a recent agreement with a consultant to provide interim administrator services.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Township Committee approved a new management team for the township administrator role at a special meeting on Monday.
In doing so, the township revoked a recent agreement with an external consulting firm to provide interim administrator services.
William E. Antonides, Jr. will now serve as interim township administrator in addition to his current role as Holmdel's CFO. According to the resolution, township employees Barbara Kovelesky and Tara Buss have been assigned as assistants to the township administrator on an as-needed basis.

The township committee had extended a contract with the consulting firm, Government Strategy Group, in a previous resolution. Initially, the contract was made to provide interim township administrator services.
The firm was compensated a flat rate of $13,950 per month.

Thomas Henshaw, a member of the firm was appointed as the interim township administrator at the Feb. 22 committee meeting.
Members of the township committee made no comment at the meeting on why the initial staffing decision was overturned.
The resolution will go into effect immediately and will remain in effect until the committee appoints a new township administrator.
