Holmdel Boys' Tennis Three-Peats As New Jersey Group 2 Champs
The Holmdel High School boys' tennis team earned the Group 2 title for a third year in a row Wednesday afternoon.

HOLMDEL, NJ — With a 5-0 win over Fort Lee Wednesday morning and a 4-1 victory over Northern Valley Demarest this afternoon, the Holmdel High School boys' tennis team earned the Group 2 title for a third year in a row.
The Hornets have dominated the state-wide Group 2 field in five of the last six years and will advance to the Tournament of Champions next week at Mercer County Park.
The team roster includes Jose Alejandro Angel, Brian Chu, Aditya Dharap, Harrison Lin, Allen Lu, Arjun Menon, Karan Menon, Alexander Tsai, Justin Wain, Clark Wang, Jason Yan, and Kevin Yan.

“We are extremely proud of the consistently strong efforts of these young men and how they have represented Holmdel High School and have handled themselves with class and dignity throughout the season,” said Holmdel’s Athletic Director Shane Fallon. “Coach Chelednik and Coach Craparo have done a tremendous job of leading and guiding our team on this journey."
