All the break-ins occurred between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Christmas morning; cash and gifts were stolen from unlocked cars. One car was stolen.

HOLMDEL, NJ — As if a South Jersey woman being shamed for her "lazy" Christmas decorations isn't bad enough, multiple Holmdel residents had their cars broken into on Christmas morning and gifts were stolen, announced Holmdel police.

And one Mercedes that had been left unlocked with the key fob inside was stolen from a Holmdel Christmas morning, too, said police.

The break-ins all occurred in the early-morning hours on Wednesday, said police. Cars were broken into from where they were sitting in driveways on Bordens Brook Way, Chardonnay Drive and Duncan Drive, said police. All the cars had been left unlocked.
