Holmdel Data Center Application Files Now Available for Public Review

The full application package

After my recent article examining serious gaps in Holmdel’s proposed data center application, many residents asked to see the underlying records for themselves. The application seeks preliminary and final site-plan approval for a 108,000-square-foot, 40-megawatt facility.

These documents were obtained through an Open Public Records Act request. Despite the importance and scale of this proposal, the data center application package has not been posted on the Planning Board’s current “Prior Applications” webpage. As of August 18, that page lists several other applications, but not the pending data center application.

To make the public record accessible, I have uploaded the files to the Internet Archive. Residents can review and download them here:

Residents should not have to rely solely on summaries or presentations from the applicant. Read the documents, examine the plans and reports, and develop your own questions. An informed public is essential when Holmdel is considering a project of this magnitude.
