Holmdel Girl Sells Baked Goods At Community Day To Fight Cancer
Come visit Alexandria Campillay's bake sale table Saturday at Community Day! Sugar Rush, Delicious Orchards and Dearborn all donated.

IHOLMDEL, NJ — Last year, on March 10, Holmdel children Alexandria and Matthew Campillay, who are twins, lost their grandfather to pancreatic cancer.
"This past year has been very difficult on our family as we try to cope with our new 'norm,'" their mother, Maria Campillay, wrote to Patch.
Alexandria is determined to keep the memory of her beloved grandfather, Stefano DeSena, alive. She is continuing to raise as much money as she can to find a cure for pancreatic cancer. She will return to Holmdel Community Day again this Saturday with another bake sale table. Alexandria sold baked goods last year at Holmdel Community Day. Incredibly, she was able to raise over $7,000 last year total, and part of that came from money she made at her bake sale.

Alexandria's grandfather's oncologist connected her with the organization Let's Win PC, an initiative supported by the Lustgarden Foundation that helps people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer find treatment options.
