Holmdel Grad Makes Big 10 Academic List
Mitchell Walier helped make Holmdel state champs in 2011, and has not let his studies drop while at Rutgers.

Holmdel, NJ - A Holmdel High grad now at Rutgers University has been named to the Big Ten Conference’s Fall 2015 Academic All-Big Ten list. To be eligible for the list, students must be letterwinners who carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Mitchell Walier is a junior and is a goalkeeper with the men’s soccer team at Rutgers. When at Holmdel, he helped them win a state championship in 2011, and helped Homdel maintain a stunning 64-8 record in the 2011 and 2012 seasons. He also hold’s Holmdel’s single-season shutout record (16) and the school’s triple jump record (44’1”). His major is electrical/computer engineering.
