Holmdel High School Comedy Night Friday, March 16

It's tonight! Manhattan comedy night at Holmdel High School, with headliner Josh Gondelman from "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver."

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Creative Arts Association, a parent-run group supporting theater, music, art, dance, photography and television production classes for all four Holmdel schools, is proud to invite high school students and adult community members to enjoy an evening of comedy with Manhattan comedians on Friday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Holmdel High School.

Emmy-award winning writer Josh Gondelman from "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver" will headline the evening. He has appeared on "Conan;" his album Physical Whisper can be found on iTunes, and Spotify and you can catch him weekly at Manhattan’s Comedy Cellar. He will be joined by fellow comedians Alise Morales, Colby Smith and Mary Kate Doherty.

Alise Morales can be found doing improv every week on UCB house team Zaddy, has appeared on Difficult People and is the head writer for "Betches 'Sup."

Colby Smith is the host of Young Person's Radio on Radio Free Brooklyn and is the host of the monthly standup show New Bits.

Mary Kate Doherty has performed standup & improv at the Upright Citizen's Brigade, Reckless, and People's Improv Theaters.

The evening’s MC will be Holmdel High School Alumnus Matt Strickland, writer/producer of MTV's 420 Theater and the host of the monthly I'd Rather Be Weird Than Good Variety Hour. Tickets may be purchased at the HCAA website at holmdelparents.org.
