Holmdel Hiring School Nurses, Substitute Teachers

HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel Township Public Schools is seeking qualified substitute teachers and nurses. The district's daily rate for licensed teachers is $110 (non-licensed substitute teachers range from $90-95 per day) and substitute nurse is $150 per day.

Holmdel Township Public Schools regularly maintains a roster of approximately 130 substitutes who are on-call throughout the academic year. The district would like to increase the pool of qualified substitutes to more than 150.

To be considered, substitute applicants must either possess a Monmouth County Substitute Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Education or be eligible to apply for one by having completed 60 semester hour credits at a regionally accredited college or university and pass the New Jersey Criminal History Background clearance.
