Holmdel Home Burglarized Tuesday Afternoon

A home on Williams Way in Holmdel was burglarized sometime around noon on Tuesday afternoon, Holmdel police reported.

HOLMDEL, NJ — A Holmdel home was burglarized sometime around noon on Tuesday afternoon, Holmdel police reported.

At approximately 1:28 a.m. today, Wednesday, the homeowner on Williams Way called 911 for a reported burglary. Police found a back door leading into the garage was forced open and several dresser drawers in a bedroom had been gone through and left open.

The residents discovered a gold necklace with faux diamonds was missing.

Upon speaking with the residents, it was determined that the burglary likely occurred between noon and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13. The resident also reported that his doorbell rang sometime between noon and 12:30 on Tuesday and at that time he observed an older model grey sedan in the cul-de-sac.

However, he did not answer the door and noticed the car left a few minutes after he first observed it. It is unknown at this time if the vehicle was involved in the burglary.
