Matt Guan of Holmdel placed 13th in a World Series of Poker tournament.

A Holmdel man has placed 13th in a World Series of Poker tournament, according to the game’s website.
Matt Guan won $411,453 in the 2015 46th Annual World Series of Poker’s No-Limit Hold’em Main Event, according to WSOP.com.
He was one of several New Jersey residents to place in the event. Others include residents of Little Egg Harbor and Hoboken, that website said.

Meanwhile, two other New Jersey men, Joshua Beckley, of Marlton, and Tom Cannuli, of Cape May, have secured seats in the final, after the field of players was narrowed from 6,000 to nine, according to NJ.com.
