Holmdel Native Graduates From Vista

Sean Leverette graduated in a ceremony on July 15.

Sean Leverette of Holmdel, N.J. was among 15 students who graduated from Vista Life Innovations—a nationally accredited community-based education program for individuals with disabilities—in a ceremony held on July 15.

Sean came to Vista in October 2014 and was a student in the Discover Program, a transitional post-secondary program in a supported campus setting. Through the program, students receive hands-on life skills instruction, employment training and counseling supports to help them develop the skills and behaviors needed to live independently as an adult.

Graduation is a significant milestone in the lives of Vista students that acknowledges the independence and success they have worked hard to achieve. Graduates will go on to move into their own homes or apartments and live as independent members of the Connecticut shoreline community while receiving individualized services as members of Vista’s Engage Program.
