Holmdel Home Break-In Under Investigation: Cops

A resident told police someone smashed a sliding door in the rear of their Tiberon Drive home and took several items.

HOLMDEL, NJ - At least one individual unlawfully entered a Holmdel residence last week, smashing a rear sliding glass door to gain entry and taking several items, Holmdel police said Friday.

A resident of the home- located on Tiberon Drive - returned to the abode on Dec. 18, only to discover evidence of forced entry, the police department wrote in a Facebook post.

An investigation later revealed that the break-in occurred between Dec. 15 and 16.

“The actors gained entry by smashing the rear slider and removed several items from the home which was unoccupied at the time,” the department wrote Friday. “Anyone with any information is asked to contact Officer Maguire or [Sgt.] Bernard.”
