Holmdel PD Looking For Man Who Approached Children On Driveway
The elderly man, who remained in the street, asked the children if they wanted to see a video he had on his cell phone, Holmdel police said.

HOLMDEL, NJ - Holmdel police are investigating a report of suspicious activity on Monday, in which a male subject approached two young residents on their driveway.
The police department received a call for suspicious activity on Spring Valley Road near the intersection of Ely Road on Nov. 16 at approximately 3:30 p.m. According to a social media post alerting the community, a 7-year-old and a 10-year-old reported to their mother that the older man began to talk to them, eventually asking the children if they wanted to see a video he had on his cell phone.
The children ran inside their house and alerted an older sibling to the incident, who then reported the incident to their mother.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 70 years old, 5'8"- 5'10" and wearing a knit cap, jeans and either a black or white sweatshirt. The male was reported to have been walking on Spring Valley Road from Holmdel Road.
Residents in the area are asked to check their camera systems for any footage that can assist in identifying the subject. Footage can be emailed to Ptl. Ian Wladika, at 0101@holmdelpolice.org.
