Holmdel Police To Hold Self-Defense Classes For High School Girls

The free program, "Safe not Sorry," will cover topics including sexual assault awareness and spring break safety, Holmdel police said.

Holmdel police are holding self-defense classes for high school seniors.

The free program, “Safe not Sorry,’’ is designed to teach young women about danger they may face, including problems they could encounter as college freshman, police said.

The classes will be held over four nights at the Holmdel Community Center, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 20, 22, 27 and 29.
