Holmdel Police Offer Nat'l Night Out August 6

All Holmdel residents are invited to join the police department next Tuesday at 7 p.m. There will be games, food, demonstrations and more!

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel police department and the Holmdel Recreation Department will participate in this year’s National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6.

All Holmdel residents are invited to join the police department next Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Township building (4 Crawfords Corner Road). There will be games, food, police K-9 and drone demonstrations and much more. This is the first year Holmdel has participated in National Night Out.

Holmdel police say the goal of their National Night Out event is to “light up Memorial Circle” at the Holmdel Township building. Families will be given luminary bags to decorate and place around the circle. At 9 p.m., a drone will take pictures of the circle.

The goal of National Night Out is to build police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

So please come, bring your chairs and blankets and spend a few hours with members of the Holmdel police and your neighbors!
