Holmdel Police To Perform Speed Checks On Two Roads

HOLMDEL, NJ — The Holmdel Township Police Department will be conducting speeding and other enforcement efforts along Longstreet Road and Line Road today.

The plan was created by the police as a way to reduce the risks of collisions, increase awareness and improve the communications between law enforcement and its citizens, police said.

In order to educate the community, warning campaigns are typically used first, rather than summonses. Officers will retain the authority to issue summonses based on the gravity of the offense.
