Holmdel Police Say Man Had $600 In Stolen Goods
Holmdel police arrested a New York man on shoplifting and conspiracy charges this weekend.

Holmdel police arrested a New York man who they say had $600 in stolen merchandise when he was taken into custody.
Moses D. Chandler of Grant Avenue, Brooklyn, was charged Saturday with shoplifting and conspiracy.

Around 7:45 p.m., Patrolman James Corrigan was called to Marshalls Department Store on Route 35.
When he arrived, he determined the defendant “was receiving merchandise from another subject who was also in the store and removed security tags from the clothing.”

Chandler was arrested. The other people who had been with him fled from the store.
He was sent to the Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township. His bail set at $25,000, records show.
