Holmdel Student Wins National Merit Scholarship

A Holmdel High School student was among the winners of the National Merit Scholarships.

A student from Holmdel is among the winners of National Merit Scholarships.

Students from around the state have won:

  • National Achievement Scholarships, which honors some 800 outstanding black high school seniors
  • College-Sponsored Merit Scholarships: some 2,200 students have won these scholarships, which are financed by U.S. colleges and universities.
  • Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship Winners: more than 1,000 distinguished high school seniors have been been awarded these scholarships, which are financed by corporations, company foundations, and other business organizations.
  • National Merit $2500 Scholarship Winners: some 2,500 Merit Scholars were chosen from a pool of more than 15,000 finalists.
