Holmdel Township Announces Biweekly Video Update Series
In an effort to increase transparency, the township will be providing brief video updates on the municipal website twice per week.

HOLMDEL, NJ - Municipal officials from Holmdel recently launched a new initiative to keep residents informed of township developments. This month, Mayor Greg Buontempo announced the Holmdel Half-Minute, a video series slated to deliver news, tips and information to Holmdel locals.
Updates will be posted to the Holmdel Township municipal website twice per week.
“In an effort to increase transparency and communication with the residents of Holmdel, I’m excited to announce the launch of the Holmdel Half-Minute: short video updates to provide news and tips from township officials,” Buontempo said in his first video update.

“Over the next few weeks and months, you can expect to hear the township committee members, emergency management leaders and health professionals on a variety of topics every Tuesday and Thursday.”
During the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the video messages will primarily focus on COVID-19, the mayor said.

To close out his first message, Buontempo provided the following reminders:
“As we head into the holiday season, please remember to keep gatherings small, always wear your mask in public, maintaining six feet distance when you are out. Please take advantage of testing opportunities as they become available.”
