Holmdel Twp Committee Approves Services Proposal For Firehouse
The committee recently approved a professional services proposal from the township architect to construct a new firehouse.
HOLMDEL, NJ – The Holmdel Township Committee recently approved a professional services proposal from township architects to construct a new firehouse at the municipal complex on Crawfords Corner Road.
According to committee documents from the Sept. 8 meeting, the proposal (submitted by township architects appointed earlier this year), calls for architectural services including bidding and construction services in a total amount not to exceed $78,750.
Earlier in 2020, the committee authorized Township Administrator Cherron Rountree to determine the possibility of constructing a new firehouse at the municipal complex. The administrator subsequently obtained a proposal from Arcari + Iovino to provide necessary services.

Committee members also approved a professional services proposal from the township engineer regarding the proposed firehouse.
According to a separate resolution, Rountree obtained a proposal from the township engineer, CME Associates, to provide necessary professional engineering services in a total amount not to exceed $16,300.

“The Township Committee of the Township of Holmdel hereby approves the foregoing proposal submitted by Arcari + Iovino for the performance of professional services work regarding the proposed firehouse at the Township’s municipal complex,” committee officials wrote.
