Home Break-In in Holmdel Over the Weekend

It is believed the suspects may have entered the Grandview Drive development by walking through the wooded area off Holmdel Road.

HOLMDEL, NJ - A Holmdel Township home was broken into this past weekend while the residents were away, the homeowners told police Tuesday.

Just after midnight on Tuesday, a resident on Grandview Drive contacted the Holmdel police and reported that their home had been burglarized over the weekend while they were out of town. The suspects forced the rear door of the residence open, police said. Several personal items were stolen.

It is believed the suspects may have entered the development by walking through the wooded area off Holmdel Road, police said.
