Monthly Sports and Pokémon Trading Card Show at Hazlet’s Raritan High School

On Sunday, September 13th, the “Exit 117 Sports Cards and Pokémon Buy, Sell &amp; Trade Expo” will make its return to Raritan High School in Hazlet.&nbsp; The show will include vendors of sports cards, memorabilia and supplies, as well vendors focusing on non-sports collectibles, such as Pokémon, One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh cards.&nbsp;&nbsp;As a special feature, NFL games will be streamed live during the show; a first for New Jersey card shows!
The show is the result of a collaboration between Hot Corner Promotions and Our Cards &amp; Collectibles, two of central New Jersey’s top show promoters.&nbsp; Both organizations are family-run businesses based in Monmouth County, and both have been operating card shows for decades.
“When we started this journey with our first show in April, our goal was to establish a larger monthly card expo in Monmouth County, which was sorely missing. We also wanted to create a fun family experience for all ages, and to support the local community.”, said Alex Escalante of Hot Corner Promotions. “I feel we have accomplished this, with a wide range of patrons and vendors attending our previous shows. We saw families and friends running into each other and reconnecting while walking the aisles and looking for that special item at the vendor tables.&nbsp; We saw visitors and vendors alike, with smiles on their faces as they discussed the products for sale.&nbsp; You could see that everyone was genuinely having a good time interacting with each other.”
“We couldn’t be happier or more thankful for the outpouring of support from the vendors and patrons. The response has been overwhelming, and the positive comments are greatly appreciated”, Escalante continued.&nbsp; “We are also thankful for the support from the Hazlet Board of Education and the Raritan High School staff.&nbsp; The RHS staff has been amazing, and has allowed us to build a strong working relationship. We are currently working with them to book monthly dates for all of 2027.”
The Expo is a monthly recurring show, featuring the best card vendors in the tri-state area. The vendors feature top-line inventory, and will have cash in hand for the purchase of cards and collections from attendees.&nbsp; There will be a food truck on site, ample parking in the high school lot, and the facility is handicap accessible.&nbsp; NFL games will stream live at all shows during football season.
Raritan High School is located at 419 Middle Road in Hazlet, NJ.&nbsp; It is easily accessible from Parkway exit 117 from the north, and Parkway exit 114 from the south, as well as from Routes 35 and 36.The show will run from 9 am through 4 pm on Sunday, September 13th.
