Howell Police Locate Suspect In Search Near Sunrise Station: Cops
Erdogan Soyalan was charged with hindering apprehension and third degree criminal mischief after destroying property inside a residence.

HOWELL, NJ – A suspect in an investigation conducted by the Howell Township Police Department was located and arrested last night, according to authorities.
On Aug. 27, officers from the police department conducted the search for an individual near Crossbrook Circle in the Sunrise Station development off of Sunnyside Road. A perimeter was established in the area while K9 and drone units searched for a male suspect who fled on foot.
The suspect was described as a white male wearing jeans and a tee shirt, according to officials.

Residents were warned not to approach the man due to an “altered mental status”. Anyone who spotted the individual was instead instructed to call 9-1-1.
At approximately 7 p.m., the suspect was located and arrested, according to an update from the Howell Township Police Department. 31-year-old Erdogan Soyalan was charged with hindering apprehension and third degree criminal mischief after destroying property inside the residence where he lived, according to authorities.

“We thank the community for the assistance,” the department wrote in a social media post on Thursday evening.
No other details were made public by the police department.
